As a beginner, this will be nice and easy on the fingers. The other thing is, that if you decide that playing the guitar just isn't for you after a bit of time, it has only been a small investment. There's plenty of good online beginners guitar courses out there, just do a bit of research on Google before you purchase and you can't go wrong.
